No matter which industry you work in, anyone having to rely on a supply of uncompromisingly clean and hygienic laundry requires a powerful systematic approach producing perfect results fast.

Bakeries/pastry shops

The 'Cottons' programme with a temperature of up to 90°C is recommended for cottons, linen and polycotton blends with typical everyday soiling. More heavily soiled textiles, e.g. workwear, is thoroughly washed in the 'Intensive' programme.

Hairdressers

The 'Towelling 40°C-60°C' is ideal for wetting and drenching towels fast. Lightly soiled towelling can be washed in the 'Express' programme in less than 30 minutes.

Cosmetic studios

Make-up on towels is best removed in either the 'Cottons' or 'Intensive' programmes. In the 'Towelling/Extra dry' programme, the dryer can be loaded with 7 kg of laundry.

Butchers

Stains typical of butchers' workwear are thoroughly removed in the 'Intensive' programme. The special-purpose 'Mops & Cloths' cycle is the programme of choice for mops and cleaning cloths. In this programme, mops and cloths are spun (dewatered) at the outset in order to ensure that the load is able to absorb water in the pre-rinse cycle.

Nurseries / Schools

The 'Cottons' programmes with temperatures up to 90°C or the 'Intensive' hygiene programme are recommended for dealing with the various soils typically associated with these applications. 'Woollens', a specially designed washing and drying programme, is ideal for woollen blankets and similar items.

HoReCa (for smaller hotels and guesthouses)

The 'Cottons', 'Towelling' and 'Bed linen' programmes are ideal, for example, for the various textiles used in kitchens, bathrooms and hotel rooms as well as for table linen.

Sports clubs/fitness centres

Sportswear is generally made from modern, synthetic fibres or blended fabrics. These can be washed gently in the 'Minimum iron' programme. The CoolDown function prevents creasing at the end of the main wash.

These include washing and drying programmes for a broad range of textiles and soils. The 'Cottons 40°C/60°C' programme sports an A+++ energy efficiency rating.

Machinery Directive 2006/EG/42

The EU Machinery Directive regulates the safe operation and, above all, the safe use of washing machines and dryers. Businesses in which washing machines or dryers are operated by various persons are under obligation to use commercial-grade machines. All Miele Professional commercial machines, including the new SmartBiz model series, are fully compliant with the Machinery Directive.
